How to Write a News Script

As someone who doesn't watch the news, I will need to do a lot more research on how to write a believable news report.

This website provides tips on how to write a good news report. Tips like being careful with numbers helped me revise my script on making the data less overwhelming. However, as the tone of my video will be predominantly comedic, I decided that I should not follow the traditional news format completely.

This uploader from Bilibili (a.k.a. B site), a Chinese video-sharing website, uploaded an ongoing series of videos where he gathers funny news and video clips and presents them as a news broadcast. He uses a sarcastically serious tone as he discusses the funny incidents happening around the world and makes a hilarious conclusion after each incident. His videos inspire me to rewrite the news report part of the script to implement more humor and flesh up this section with more imagery.
